What you will do

• Partner with Product, Project, and Quality Engineering teams to deliver stable, high-impact features in an agile environment.
• Implement backend projects end-to-end, including clean code development, automated testing, and application deployment.
• Modernize server-side systems handling identity management, user provisioning, and corporate onboarding workflows.
• Build and maintain cloud services, RESTful APIs, and strategic third-party partner integrations.
• Monitor application health in cloud environments and participate in technical design reviews.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years focused on backend application development.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Practical experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, S3) or equivalent hyperscalers.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases (MySQL on RDS Aurora) and caching solutions (Redis).
• Proven ability to use CI/CD tools (GitLab CI) and observability suites (Datadog, ELK stack).
• English: Fluent (C1) required for working in an international team.
• Location: Must be based in Slovakia.

Nice to have

• Experience with React or modern frontend frameworks.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Domain background in security, identity management, or corporate onboarding systems.
• Project leadership skills, including planning, estimating work, and managing dependencies.
