What you will do
- Design and develop secure, scalable, high-performance APIs and services within a TypeScript-first ecosystem on AWS.
- Implement platform-wide security measures including OAuth 2.0, JWT, data encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Drive technical decisions and promote best practices in API design, microservices, testing, and deployment.
- Optimize backend services for maximum speed and low latency, proactively resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Mentor team members to foster a culture of technical excellence and security consciousness.
- Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient, automated, and reliable software delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
- Proven experience in designing and maintaining secure, distributed systems on AWS (Lambda, ECS, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB).
- Strong hands-on expertise with TypeScript and Node.js.
- Deep understanding of API security principles and best practices (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
- Proficiency with containerization using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS.
- English: Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher required.
Nice to have
- Hands-on expertise with React and Next.js.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and microservices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Working experience with .Net or Python.
- Experience with GCP and BigQuery.
