What you will do

• Lead, manage, and set strategy for multiple Operations Work Team Leaders and their teams across safety, quality, reliability, cost, continuous improvement, and employee morale.
• Champion daily continuous improvement and kaizen activities, eliminate the seven forms of waste, and create processes that add value for customers.
• Coach Work Team Leaders in disciplined problem-solving, standardized work, leadership, and people development.
• Implement pull systems, takt time, and one-piece flow while removing barriers to reliable on-time delivery.
• Identify quality issues and root causes, implement solutions, and partner with customer service and corporate quality teams.
• Manage safety programs, 5-S principles, training, environmental goals, and compliance with state and federal legislation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or operations management, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of six years of successful supervisory experience, including leading teams, salaried employees, and multiple departments in a technical or complex operations environment.
• Demonstrated coaching, change management, decision-making, conflict-resolution, interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Previous experience implementing and coaching lean manufacturing principles and tools in a multi-shift or multi-team environment.
• Proficiency in ISO quality systems fundamentals and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• PC and systems literacy, including Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, and office automation or communication tools.
• Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
