What you will do
- Lead deployment, governance, documentation, and continuous maturity of the operating system across all site functions.
- Design and sustain Tier 1–4 accountability structures, Leader Standard Work, KPI frameworks, escalation routines, and daily management systems.
- Embed RCA, 5 Whys, 8D, Kaizen, 5S, standard work, material flow, TPM, and other Lean improvement methods.
- Integrate operating-system practices with planning, scheduling, production execution, logistics, and Order-to-Fulfillment processes.
- Coach leaders and teams, deliver role-based training and certification, and drive cultural change toward accountability and continuous improvement.
- Prepare capability assessments, conduct gap analyses, coordinate audit evidence, and ensure corrective actions are closed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, business, or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience.
- 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence.
- Hands-on experience deploying Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable operating systems, with knowledge of DMAIC and structured problem solving.
- Experience with process mapping, value-stream analysis, Gemba-based analysis, root cause analysis, Kaizen, pull systems, line balancing, SMED, and error-proofing.
- Knowledge of standard work, visual management, 5S, TPM, control plans, statistical analysis, and data-driven performance management.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship is required.
Nice to have
- Black Belt, Lean Master, or equivalent certification.
- Experience with ERP/MES systems and operational performance dashboards.
