Operations Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: 100% in-office presence required in Jacksonville, Florida

What you will do

• Lead daily execution of production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate Team Leads and Operators to foster accountability and teamwork.
• Monitor performance against key metrics (output, defects, rework) and lead Tier 1 daily management meetings.
• Coordinate with Planning, Materials, Quality, and Maintenance to ensure work center readiness.
• Enforce safety protocols, 5S practices, and compliance with standard work policies.
• Support onboarding, cross-training, and upskilling of team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
• 3-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• 1+ years of experience in a formal or informal leadership role.
• Experience with takt time, standard work, and visual management.
• Proficiency in ERP, Excel, and production dashboards.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Jacksonville, Florida.

Nice to have

• Experience with root cause analysis (5 Whys, fishbone).
• Understanding of Lean and 5S visual factory principles.
• Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
• Strong conflict resolution and feedback skills.
