Location: Hybrid (Croydon, UK) - Must be based in the UK and attend the Croydon office one day per week

What you will do

• Provide legal advice via telephone and email on disciplinary, grievance, and gross misconduct issues.
• Advise on TUPE, redundancy exercises, whistleblowing, and industrial relations.
• Manage employment contracts, workplace policies, and general legal compliance.
• Draft clear and legally accurate written advice for senior stakeholders and HR professionals.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with a diverse portfolio of corporate clients.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in a UK jurisdiction.
• Proven employment law experience gained in private practice, in-house, or advisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of the Employment Rights Act and current legislative developments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence in providing legal advice remotely via phone and email.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working on an employment advice line.
• Experience supporting HR professionals in large corporate organizations.
• Public sector employment law experience.
