Community Engagement Manager, Media & Entertainment

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada — 10 Rue Duke

Salary: CAD 93,750–137,500 annual base salary for Canada-based roles; offers may exceed this range and may include bonuses, commissions, stock grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and implement a results-driven community strategy and roadmap for the Media & Entertainment industry.
• Develop engagement initiatives using emerging AI and LLM trends to support communities of creators and influencers.
• Create, curate, moderate, and manage community content, including user-generated content.
• Build networks of influencers, creators, and industry experts, and manage ambassador, Expert Elites, and beta-tester programs.
• Activate creators for stories, tutorials, discussions, AMAs, case studies, and live events across Reddit, Discord, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Create measurement frameworks and provide monthly insights on influence, credibility, advocacy, sentiment, trends, and opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in community management, social engagement, or digital content roles in Media & Entertainment, gaming, animation, or related creative industries.
• Experience creating, curating, and managing content across forums, social channels, UGC environments, and proprietary community platforms.
• Hands-on experience moderating and engaging communities on Discord, Reddit, LinkedIn, and similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of creative pipelines and artist workflows, with the ability to turn community insights into actionable content strategies.
• Experience building and scaling community programs and activating influencers, creators, and industry experts.
• Strong written and verbal communication, relationship-building, analytical, program development, and community data skills.
