Social and Community Manager (AI)

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Track real-time conversations and trends relevant to hirify.global, assess narrative opportunities, and shape messages that generate community and market interest.
• Create and publish on-brand content that makes technical AI topics accessible and shareable while managing the social calendar.
• Monitor social, Discord, and community platforms; analyze engagement, reach, sentiment, growth, and community health.
• Moderate discussions, answer questions, welcome members, and strengthen developer and AI communities.
• Support Champion and Ambassador programs, newsletters, AMAs, cohorts, virtual events, meetups, and webinars.
• Maintain calendars, trackers, and dashboards and share data-driven recommendations with marketing, product, and engineering.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of hands-on social media or community management experience, preferably with developer or AI communities.
• Demonstrated judgment in identifying valuable reactions and a track record of content or narratives that achieved meaningful reach.
• Strong data and analytics skills, including metric tracking, performance interpretation, reporting, dashboards, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience engaging and growing communities on Discord, Reddit, X, forums, or similar platforms.
• Experience with native social and community analytics tools and platforms such as Sprout Social or similar.
• Daily use of LLMs and generative AI tools, with an understanding of developer workflows around models and inference.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting community programs and events.
• Familiarity with AI infrastructure or open-source model communities, including the Hugging Face ecosystem.
• Basic video or multimedia production skills.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments.
