Supply Chain & Inventory Lead (Advanced Synthesis)

Location: Primarily on-site in Visp or Basel, Switzerland; remote work is limited to no more than 20% of the time. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families.

What you will do

• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
• Lead cross-site forums addressing inventory topics such as excess inventory and customer liability.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for inventory projections, write-offs, and provisions.
• Monitor supply chain KPIs, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-site teams to streamline supply chain processes.
• Define ADS-wide processes, including inventory reporting for S&OP, and ensure adherence across sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in material and inventory management with a track record of improving supply chain KPI performance.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with complex data sets.
• Leadership experience in matrix organizations and excellent cross-functional communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Ability to adapt global standards to Advanced Synthesis requirements with a process-focused mindset.

• Knowledge of German or Chinese.
