Director of Product (AI): Own product strategy and decision-making across the hirify.global Database, hirify.global Cloud, and agent products with an accent on enterprise customer discovery, evidence-based prioritization, and technically deep product planning. Focus on translating complex customer requirements into actionable roadmaps, managing trade-offs with engineering, and building a growing product team while remaining hands-on.

Location: 100% remote, with working hours between GMT and ET and flexibility for occasional early or late calls.

What you will do

• Own product strategy, prioritization, and a unified roadmap across the database, cloud, and agent products.
• Conduct continuous discovery with enterprise customers, including sales, renewals, and support conversations.
• Translate enterprise requirements into clear specifications with business context and expected impact.
• Partner with the CTO, tech leads, engineering, sales, and marketing on vision, feasibility, sequencing, and product launches.
• Define success metrics, evaluate roadmap trade-offs, and communicate priority changes across stakeholders.
• Manage and develop one to three PMs while remaining hands-on in selected product areas.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, including recent hands-on individual contributor work and personal roadmap ownership.
• Experience with enterprise customers, requirements gathering, discovery, and expectation management.
• Demonstrated ability to quantify business impact and defend prioritization decisions.
• Comfort working in a technically deep domain such as databases, data infrastructure, distributed systems, or developer tools.
• Experience with Linear or a comparable product management tool and strong written communication skills.
• People management experience or clear readiness to manage a team of one to three PMs.

Nice to have

• Experience at a developer tools or open-source company.
• Familiarity with vector search, embeddings, RAG, or agent workflows.
• Experience with enterprise and self-serve product motions.
• Experience supporting both an open-source project and a commercial cloud offering.
