TL;DR
Senior Product Manager, Infrastructure, Scaling & Core Workflow Primitives (AI): Building reusable workflow primitives, builder tools, registries, and build-to-production capabilities for AI healthcare products with an accent on scalability, generalization, and regulated environments. Focus on defining product requirements, preventing bespoke implementations, and increasing reuse across products through multi-tenancy, configuration-driven systems, and automated review gates.

Location: Palo Alto, United States — hybrid with onsite work 3 days per week; remote work is available within the United States.

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

  • Own the roadmap for builder tools and reusable core workflow primitives across customer and internal products.
  • Build and maintain a catalog of versioned, discoverable primitives with stable interfaces and clear adoption.
  • Define the process for promoting one-off customer capabilities into reusable platform components.
  • Set scalability and generalization requirements, including multi-tenancy, configuration over code, performance, and reuse.
  • Own product requirements for workflow registries, config-driven backends, and the build-to-production pipeline.
  • Define reuse metrics and partner with infrastructure engineering, Workflow Factory, data and analytics, and peer product teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 6+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years owning platform, developer tools, or infrastructure products.
  • Experience turning customer- or team-specific capabilities into shared components adopted by other products.
  • Technical fluency in workflow orchestration, APIs, event-driven architectures, and config-driven systems, including the ability to read schemas and follow a codebase.
  • Experience with builder tools, low-code platforms, internal developer platforms, or component libraries at scale.
  • Experience shipping products in regulated environments and the ability to work onsite in Palo Alto 3 days per week.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of healthcare operations or health system IT environments.
  • Experience with workflow engines such as Temporal, LLM agent frameworks, or design systems and component governance.
