What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of 4-8 library engineers through coaching and direct feedback.
• Own team delivery, including planning, milestones, and on-call rotations.
• Define product direction for App & API Protection, Workload Protection, and Code Security.
• Maintain high technical quality and architecture by contributing code and applying strong technical judgment.
• Collaborate and drive alignment with language teams, backend, and frontend partners.
• Shape team identity and culture while owning accountability for outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience managing engineering teams, owning backlogs, and driving delivery.
• Senior software engineering background with strong technical judgment.
• Proven track record of coaching and developing engineers at various levels.
• Strong cross-team communication skills to drive alignment among stakeholders.
• Experience building SDKs, libraries, developer tooling, or systems/run-time software.
• Pragmatic approach to weighing technical trade-offs against customer impact.

Nice to have

• Background in application security (WAF, RASP, IAST/SCA) or APM/observability.
• Hands-on experience with .NET, Java, Go, Node.js, Python, Ruby, or PHP.
• Experience leading distributed or multi-language teams.
