Senior Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Paris, France; hybrid work with remote Fridays

What you will do

• Architect, build, and maintain automated security guardrails and secure-by-default development paths.
• Collaborate with development teams during ideation and system design to embed secure coding and architecture practices.
• Develop continuous, automated security assessments and replace manual reviews with scalable controls.
• Contribute code for security fixes and build self-service tools that help developers detect and remediate risks.
• Implement preventive and detective controls, contribute to security strategy, and participate in periodic incident-response on-call rotations.
• Apply AI technologies and methodologies to threat detection, security evaluations, and scalable system protection.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting systems, analyzing logs, automating command-line tasks, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing mitigation strategies.
• 5+ years of hands-on scripting, software development, and security-focused code reviews using standard programming languages.
• Experience with threat modeling, risk identification, vulnerability remediation, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
• Experience securing microservices, service-oriented architectures, and web services.
• Experience with identity providers and authentication protocols including OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML.
• Leadership or guidance experience as a technical lead, mentor, or engineering team lead, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI/ML workflows and agents.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, ArgoCD, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Atlantis, and Grafana.
• Experience with Claude Code, Trivy, Conftest/OPA, Kyverno, cert-manager, and cloud security services.
