is a product company operating a freelancer marketplace with payment and cash advance services.
What you will do
- Lead one product squad of 6–10 engineers through clear direction, team rituals, workshops, and feedback.
- Co-build the product and technical strategy for the Payment & Cash Advance domain.
- Set and track KPIs for impact, velocity, quality, and predictable delivery.
- Act as the primary technical contact for external financial partners, including payment service providers and cash advance providers.
- Ensure reliable, scalable integrations across the payments and financing ecosystem.
- Contribute to engineering-wide rituals, tooling, and process improvements through the Engineering Manager Guild.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a senior backend or fullstack individual contributor, ideally with Java or Kotlin.
- Experience with code reviews, merge requests, architecture discussions, and technical quality.
- Expertise in payment systems at scale and understanding of their constraints and opportunities.
- Experience building high-performing product teams in a scale-up or hyper-growth environment.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, delivery management, technical migrations, and stakeholder communication.
- Fluent written and spoken English required; French is a plus.

Hiring process
- Initial call with Talent Acquisition.
- Interview with the CTO, followed by a product case and debrief with engineering management.
- Technical case and debrief with staff engineers, followed by a final interview with the CFO at the Paris office.
