Sr Technical Specialist, Emerging Solutions, Water (Water Infrastructure)

Location: United Kingdom — Remote; hybrid contracts are available with no minimum office days.

What you will do

• Partner with Water Sales Specialists, hirify.global sales teams, and Solution Partners to develop opportunities and achieve technical closure.
• Build trusted relationships with water-industry practitioners, technical leaders, and senior stakeholders.
• Lead customer workshops to identify business challenges, workflows, technical requirements, and desired outcomes.
• Design solution approaches using hirify.global Water Infrastructure technologies, including operational analytics, asset management, hydraulic modelling, and digital twin capabilities.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, solution storytelling, pilots, proofs of concept, and other validation activities.
• Share customer feedback and market insight with product teams to inform water product strategy and future development.

Requirements

• Professional experience in the water and wastewater sector, with knowledge of industry processes, challenges, and technical workflows.
• Technical experience applying asset management, operational analytics, hydraulic modelling, or digital twin solutions in water and wastewater environments.
• Experience with hydraulic modelling tools and workflows.
• Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, workshop facilitation, and solution-development skills.
• An engineering degree, equivalent professional qualification, or relevant industry experience.
• Business fluency in English and the ability to work remotely from the United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Experience with Info360 Asset, Info360 Insight, InfoWorks ICM, InfoWorks WS Pro, InfoDrainage, or comparable solutions.
• Experience collaborating with sales or commercial teams in technical sales, solutions engineering, or pre-sales.
• Knowledge of SaaS, cloud technology, digital transformation, digital twins, or data-driven decision-making in the water sector.
• Experience with water utilities, engineering consultancies, or technology providers across EMEA.
• Additional European language skills, especially Spanish, and experience developing business cases for technology investments.
