Technical Sales Support Engineer (Marine Geomatics)

Location: UK - Remote; approximately 30% international travel required.

What you will do

• Provide technical support and advice to international marine clients across office, digital, and field settings.
• Install systems, conduct development testing, support inside sales, and deliver live product demonstrations.
• Create and deliver training courses for resellers and OEM partners.
• Work with Product and Engineering teams to translate customer feedback into requirements for future marine hardware and software.
• Participate in a global follow-the-sun support rotation and assist with dispatch, shipment logs, and other cross-functional activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Geomatics, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Practical hydrographic surveying experience with Qimera, Hypack, EIVA, CARIS, or similar survey software.
• Experience with multibeam sonar systems and geodetic GNSS applications.
• IHO CAT A Accreditation.
• Strong adaptability and communication skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges independently.

Nice to have

• Electronic troubleshooting, hardware repair, and system testing skills.
• Experience supporting marine positioning and orientation hardware or office software.
