What you will do

• Manage, mentor, and coach teams of Software Engineers to improve their technical skills and overall effectiveness.
• Own the maintenance, design, development, and delivery of multiple critical cloud services within the Ring ecosystem.
• Define the team's vision and goals, engaging with stakeholders and product partners to manage short, medium, and long-term plans.
• Drive high availability and scalability of services while maintaining a high operational bar.
• Collaborate with users and senior leadership to collect requirements and define software product features and technical designs.
• Evangelize and lead the adoption of AI usage across the engineering team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in engineering team management.
• Strong knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
• Experience partnering effectively with product and program management teams.
• Ability to analyze quantitatively, scope technical requirements, and prioritize deliverables.
