What you will do

• Manage and mentor a team of 5 software engineers.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of the communication backbone for smart home devices.
• Deliver large-scale, cross-functional projects on time and with high quality.
• Set project timelines, prioritize tasks, and manage technical feasibility.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes and product outcomes.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from the office in Kraków, Poland.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of developers.
• Strong technical mentorship and leadership skills.
• Experience with object-oriented programming (C# preferred), database design, and networking concepts.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable service-oriented architectures.

Nice to have

• Experience working with physical systems and IoT hardware.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Ember.js, or mobile development (iOS/Android).
