What you will do

• Manage a team of 6-8 engineers building a unified web platform for IoT device management.
• Own team productivity and output, proactively identifying blockers and optimizing workflows.
• Partner with product management and design to translate business priorities into engineering plans.
• Lead the hiring process, from defining roles to closing candidates.
• Coach engineers through 1:1s, goal setting, and performance feedback.
• Remain technically engaged by reviewing architecture and participating in design decisions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in product engineering teams as a senior individual contributor.
• 2+ years of demonstrated leadership or formal management experience.
• Deep experience managing teams building complex modern web applications.
• Technical ability to read code, understand system architecture, and lead design reviews.
• Proven ability to work with distributed teams using async-first communication.
• English: cover letter written in English is required.

Nice to have

• Background in IoT, developer tools, or embedded systems tooling.
• Experience with platform migrations or significant product integrations.
• Familiarity with React, TypeScript, Python, or Kotlin.
