What you will do

• Lead a new 0→1 team focused on building AI agents to enhance engineering velocity and developer experience.
• Define and own the agent roadmap, identifying high-impact automation opportunities and success metrics.
• Contribute hands-on to prototyping, coding, and solving complex technical challenges.
• Establish evaluation frameworks for agent performance using methods like LLM-as-judge and regression sets.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Security teams to integrate agents into core engineering workflows.
• Maintain high engineering standards through design docs, RFCs, and rigorous execution.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in engineering management.
• Proven track record of shipping production systems, specifically agentic or automation-heavy workflows.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Ability to define performance metrics and evaluate systems rigorously.
• Experience authoring technical design documents and driving organizational alignment.
• Must be based in the US or eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience building developer tooling or internal platforms.
• Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks.
• Experience working in monorepo environments.
• Background in early-stage startups or scaling small teams (0→1).
