Warehousing & Materials Team Leader

What you will do

• Supervise daily receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.
• Assign tasks and guide warehouse handlers, pickers, and packers through shift briefings and on-the-job coaching.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by recording inbound, internal, and outbound movements in the WMS, conducting spot checks, and supporting cycle counts.
• Enforce HSE, warehouse safety, and dangerous-goods handling requirements, including segregation and storage of hazardous, temperature-sensitive, and fragile materials.
• Coordinate the safe use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Prepare operational, inventory, safety, and KPI reports with transaction-level traceability.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
• Experience supervising warehouse teams, including handlers, pickers, and packers.
• Proficiency with WMS and inventory-management tools.
• Experience implementing operational procedures and enforcing safety standards.
• Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and team-coordination skills.
• Understanding of dangerous-goods handling, segregation, and labelling requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in defense, aerospace, or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Certifications in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• HSE training.
• Forklift operation and material-handling certifications.
