Material Controller (Oil & Gas EPC)

What you will do

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, requisitions, and delivery notes.
• Maintain material identification, tagging, traceability, receipt, issue, return, and stock records.
• Coordinate material availability and distribution with warehouse, procurement, QA/QC, construction, vendor, and logistics teams.
• Monitor storage conditions and preservation requirements, including coating, wrapping, and shelf life.
• Issue materials to construction teams against approved material request forms and conduct stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
• Prepare material status reports, stock reports, and tracking logs, and support project close-out and reconciliation.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in material control, warehouse, or logistics roles on Oil & Gas or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of material management, inventory control, warehouse operations, and storage standards.
• Familiarity with piping, mechanical, electrical, and civil construction materials.
• Knowledge of ADNOC material management procedures, material traceability, preservation requirements, and EPC project specifications.
• Strong coordination, organization, reporting, and documentation skills, with the ability to understand material specifications and requisition documents.
