What you will do

• Manage end-to-end pricing and bidding for compressed air installation tenders.
• Create detailed Bills of Materials (BOM) and evaluate labor requirements.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, schematic diagrams, and structural blueprints.
• Conduct on-site surveys to assess installation feasibility and safety risks.
• Build relationships with contractors and clients to negotiate pricing terms.
• Perform value engineering to provide cost-saving alternatives to clients.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience estimating mechanical piping systems.
• Proven track record in compressed air, fluid power, or industrial gas installations.
• Proficiency in reading construction/mechanical drawings and using advanced Excel.
• Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel within the UK.
• Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or Quantity Surveying (preferred).
• Excellent written English for professional tender proposals.
