What you will do

• Lead the resolution of technical challenges across the full product development lifecycle independently and within teams.
• Mentor junior engineers with the opportunity to transition into line management.
• Establish user, design, and functional requirements and deliver robust, validated solutions.
• Own designs end-to-end, covering conception, CAD execution, prototyping, and verification.
• Optimize designs for cost efficiency, manufacturing performance, quality, and consumer value.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and executive stakeholders across the US, UK, and China.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in high-voltage environments, including thermal management and structural integrity.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (preferred) or Creo.
• Extensive experience with injection moulding and materials suited for high-voltage applications (e.g., PPS, PAGF).
• Expertise in managing electrical safety risks and risk assessment using FMEA, DFMEA, and HAZOP.
• Proficiency in 2D drawings, BOM management, and GD&T.
