Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Annual base salary: €75,000–€105,000

What you will do

• Design mechanical assemblies from 3D concepts through calculations, simulations, detailed manufacturing drawings, and buy-part specifications.
• Translate customer requirements into innovative designs and participate in design reviews.
• Assemble prototype designs, apply lessons learned, and optimize final products.
• Transfer technology and design specifications to manufacturing facilities throughout project phases.
• Design for safety, environmental performance, robustness, functional quality, and ease of maintenance.
• Prepare drawings and parts lists, manage CAD standards and design changes, coordinate supplier quotations and deliveries, and coach contract draftsmen.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 10 years of mechanical design experience.
• Extensive experience developing state-of-the-art machinery.
• Experience and interest in new technologies, with strong problem-solving, interpersonal, pragmatic, and independent-working skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
• Flexible and creative mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to balance efficiency and quality.
