Facility Coordinator

Location: Geel, Antwerp, Belgium; on-site coordination of facilities, contractors, buildings, parking areas, utilities, and technical installations.

Base pay: €72,500–€115,230 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate day-to-day facility activities across buildings, infrastructure, maintenance, project teams, internal stakeholders, and external service providers.
• Oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for buildings, technical installations, and utilities.
• Manage and prioritise work orders, technical interventions, minor works, breakdown follow-up, deviations, and improvement actions.
• Act as the point of contact for assigned buildings, internal customers, contractors, and soft-service providers.
• Coordinate contractor areas and on-site logistical processes, including space use, parking, road closures, and future investment projects.
• Support safety, quality, compliance, business continuity, risk management, audits, inspections, documentation, and KPI-based improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical discipline, facility management, or a comparable field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Relevant experience in facilities, maintenance, utilities, or technical services; regulated pharmaceutical or manufacturing experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of technical installations, building management, maintenance processes, and digital tools.
• Strong organisation, prioritisation, judgement, communication, service orientation, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in a regulated environment.
• Professional fluency in Dutch and English, spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Experience in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or other regulated industrial environment.
• Critical thinking, equipment maintenance, fact-based decision-making, and repair management skills.
