What you will do

• Build and lead communications strategies for major product and feature launches from early planning through launch day.
• Translate product improvements into clear, engaging consumer narratives.
• Identify creative stories in product and behavioral data and turn them into media pitches.
• Coordinate data requests and ensure methodology, sample size, and approvals support every external claim.
• Package approved narratives and data for PR agency outreach.
• Draft pitches, maintain press relationships, and represent communications in cross-functional planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in communications, ideally combining product and consumer storytelling in consumer technology.
• Hands-on experience managing feature launches with cross-functional teams from strategy through media placement.
• Strong understanding of the changing media landscape, including podcasts and social-first reporters.
• Established media relationships and confidence communicating directly with reporters.
• Ability to interpret behavioral and performance data and develop compelling, credible stories.
• Comfort collaborating early with Product, Product Marketing, Brand, Analytics, and Legal.

• Agency experience.
• Experience managing claims approval processes with Analytics or Legal.
• Ability to work across product-feature, brand, and cultural storytelling.
