What you will do

• Define the global communications strategy, operating model, annual calendar, narrative priorities, and corporate moments.
• Build media and analyst relationships across business, cybersecurity, AI, and enterprise technology press.
• Develop pitches, press releases, bylines, executive materials, rapid-response commentary, and other content that drives coverage.
• Own corporate communications for funding announcements, M&A, customer wins, milestones, executive changes, and crisis situations.
• Build executive profiles through ghostwriting, keynotes, podcasts, speaking opportunities, and social presence.
• Lead internal communications, mentor the internal communications function, manage PR agencies, and measure coverage, sentiment, share of voice, and analyst positioning.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in media relations, PR, or corporate communications, including substantial cybersecurity experience.
• Experience building a communications function from the ground up at a startup or high-growth company.
• Established relationships with security and enterprise technology reporters, editors, and analysts, with a record of securing high-impact coverage.
• Ability to translate GenAI, agentic AI, and cybersecurity risks into compelling stories for media and analysts.
• Experience ghostwriting for executives, managing international PR agencies and budgets, and developing communications talent.
• Ability to operate strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced remote environment.
