Associate Manager, Manufacturing (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Manage production-area activities to meet performance, schedule, quality, cost, and budget objectives.
• Prioritize production schedules based on product introductions, equipment efficiency, and material supply.
• Maintain stable workflow processes, monitor production metrics, and implement operational improvements.
• Develop schedules and manpower requirements for assigned manufacturing areas.
• Recruit, select, onboard, coach, and evaluate production operators and direct reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, group managers, customers, and other cross-functional departments.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 3 years with a master’s degree, a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop direct reports in a changing environment with competing demands.
• Business, analytical, organizational, planning, and practical problem-solving skills.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to perform duties in compliance with FDA and state regulations and ISO 13485 standards.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including standing, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
