Location: Must be based in Louisville, KY or Mount Juliet, TN

What you will do

  • Lead and develop maintenance technicians to ensure the reliability and performance of warehouse assets and automated material handling systems.
  • Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance activities, including rapid response to high-severity downtime events.
  • Ensure maintenance practices comply with pharmacy, safety, and quality standards through accurate documentation and equipment readiness.
  • Audit work quality and PM execution to identify gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Operations and Pharmacy teams to align maintenance priorities with production schedules and business needs.
  • Manage third-party vendors for specialized maintenance and calibration tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 7+ years of maintenance leadership.
  • Experience leading maintenance teams in eCommerce, automated fulfillment, or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with material handling systems, conveyors, and powered industrial equipment.
  • Proven ability to use data and maintenance systems to drive performance and equipment reliability.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Industry certifications such as CMRP, CRL, or OSHA 10/30.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems and facility infrastructure like RTUs, AHUs, and boilers.
  • Experience using a CMMS/EAM system for maintenance planning.
