Order Management Officer - Contract (Malaysia)

What you will do

• Configure and maintain SAP Work Breakdown Structures and network activities based on approved project costing sheets.
• Track project costs and margins, aligning timely adjustments with project stakeholders and the latest project status.
• Manage the project Order-to-Cash process, including quotations, sales orders, delivery notes, invoices, billing plans, and billing support.
• Coordinate sales, delivery, purchasing, supplier, and logistics documentation in line with project requirements and shipment timelines.
• Create purchase orders against approved requisitions, confirm supplier acknowledgments and delivery schedules, and coordinate inbound and outbound SAP bookings.
• Maintain project documentation in Global Project Share and local filing systems for audit and global governance purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in order management, project management, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP OTC, PTP, and PltP modules, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong team-player attitude, self-motivation, organization, service orientation, proactivity, and ability to work independently in a multinational environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Solid understanding of project order management and supply chain principles, with a strong focus on business compliance.

Nice to have

• Chinese proficiency, including Cantonese and Mandarin, for dealing with clients from China.
• Commercial project management knowledge and background.
