Manufacturing Supervisor

Location: Batu Kawan, Pulau Pinang (Penang), Malaysia; onsite role with an 11-hour rotating shift.

What you will do

• Manage daily manufacturing and remanufacturing operations across multiple product lines to meet regional business requirements.
• Lead and coordinate daily activities for a team of non-exempt individual contributors.
• Manage production scheduling, resource allocation, workflow optimization, inventory, materials, components, and finished products.
• Implement quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry requirements.
• Analyze data, recommend process improvements and cost reductions, monitor expenses and capital expenditures, and prepare KPI and manufacturing reports.
• Recruit, coach, manage performance, and support career development.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically 2–4 years of job-related experience and 0–2 years of management experience, preferably in manufacturing operations, supply chain, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology, automation, business processes, chemistry, data analysis, fabrication, inventory management, KPIs, merchandising, new product development, process improvement, project management, purchasing, SAP applications, selling techniques, SQL, supply chain, technical support, warehousing, and workflow management.
• Customer centricity, prioritization, resilience, team management, and strategic thinking.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Certified Professional in Supply Management certification.
