Salary: $96,921–$161,843 annually in Colorado or $105,732–$176,556 annually in Virginia.

What you will do

• Create, modify, and maintain civil engineering drawings, site development plans, grading designs, utility layouts, and project documentation.
• Apply advanced civil engineering and design practices to complex infrastructure assignments using CAD, BIM, 3D modeling, and Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Review design inputs and deliverables for accuracy, quality, applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, consultation, training, and oversight to engineering technicians and staff.
• Coordinate with other design groups, communicate requirements and schedules, and support client-focused project delivery.
• Perform design calculations, quantity takeoffs, estimates, drawing control, and process improvement activities.

Requirements

• At least 11 years of related work experience.
• Associate degree in drafting or an engineering design-related technology.
• Advanced civil engineering design and technical documentation expertise.
• Experience with CAD, BIM, 3D modeling, and industry-standard design software such as Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Ability to complete required background, drug, and motor vehicle checks.
• Must work from one of the listed United States office locations; relocation eligibility and visa sponsorship are not available.

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering design-related technology.
