Technical Consultant (Renewable Structural)

Salary: $100,000–$175,000/year

What you will do

• Perform detailed structural design and analysis for substations, PV, and BESS projects.
• Review material, construction, and steel specifications for project conformance.
• Create and enforce technical standards across the Renewable Structural department.
• Prepare complex structural calculations, models, cost estimates, and project reports.
• Conduct field inspections and construction supervision as required.
• Check the work of designers and engineers to ensure quality and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.
• 7+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MathCAD, SAP2000, PLS-CADD, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel 15–25% of the time for field work.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Experience with steel, driven pile, helical pile, and drilled pier design.
