What you will do

• Deliver advanced classroom, remote, and field-based construction craft training for apprentices, journeymen, and site supervision personnel.
• Teach complex topics including equipment systems, transformers, power distribution, and industrial construction systems.
• Design, review, and improve curricula, assessments, digital materials, and instructional strategies.
• Evaluate student performance, track training completion, and implement improvements based on field needs and industry standards.
• Support apprenticeship enrollment, registration, scheduling, progress tracking, documentation, and ratio compliance.
• Mentor less experienced instructors and support accreditation and program quality requirements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant construction craft experience, including extensive journey-level or technician-level experience.
• More than 3 years of successful teaching experience in a vocational or technical construction craft program.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NCCER Instructor Certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, learning management systems, virtual training platforms, and instructional technology.
• Ability to provide effective instruction in both in-person and remote environments.
• Must be willing and able to travel at least 70% of the time. Pre-employment screening may include background, drug, and motor vehicle checks; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of field operations experience, including 5+ years at journeyman level.
• NCCER Master Trainer or equivalent discipline-related certification.
• Experience leading training teams, developing curricula, and managing apprenticeship compliance and ratios.
• Experience in industrial or commercial construction environments.
• Bilingual skills and a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
