Instructional System Designer

Instructional System Designer: Developing and validating multimedia and e-learning courseware using the ADDIE instructional system design model with an accent on learning theory, assessment, and SCORM-based delivery. What you will do

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Project/production Managers, and the production team to create multimedia, graphics, and media projects.
• Recommend instructional platforms, instructional media, development tools, and delivery methods to meet training requirements.
• Build training plans and conduct guidance for the validation phase of the ISD process to ensure course effectiveness and required proficiency levels.
• Add, manage, and test online courseware, then report findings and recommend training improvements.
• Design training materials (instructional text, audio scripts, and video scripts) and apply ADDIE across Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate.
• Coordinate with customers on project requests, scope meetings, storyboards, content reviews, and approvals for final course delivery.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance and ability to pass a US Government background check.
• Bachelor’s degree in educational technology/instructional design/educational design, or 5 years of applied experience in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) techniques.
• Demonstrated experience in two of the following: learning theory/psychology of learning, instructional design practices, educational assessment, or instructional product creation.
• Proficiency with current educational development technologies, including Adobe Captivate and SCORM packaging/delivery; experience with gaming, 3D modeling, virtual reality, and simulation is expected.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom) and Adobe Acrobat; strong grammar/spelling/syntax/editing skills.
