Senior Technology Consultant (Discrete Event Simulation)

Location: Kraków, Poland

Salary: 145,000–212,300 PLN per year starting base salary for Poland-based roles; offers may exceed this range.

What you will do

• Deliver FlexSim discrete event simulation consulting services from discovery through implementation, leading workstreams independently.
• Design, develop, validate, and present simulation models to analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
• Translate customer business challenges into scalable and repeatable operations solutions in collaboration with AOS stakeholders.
• Provide technical support escalations and serve as a subject matter expert for customers, sales channels, and colleagues.
• Support pre-sales through technical demonstrations, solution design, and engagement scoping.
• Develop reusable methodologies and assets, deliver training and workshops, mentor team members, and provide product feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in discrete event simulation, process improvement, or a related domain, including building and analyzing simulation models.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, or another object-oriented language.
• Understanding of manufacturing systems, process flows, and facility operations.
• Strong analytical, abstraction, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with hirify.global FlexSim, digital twins, smart factories, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial engineering.
• Experience with AI and reinforcement or machine learning tools.
• Experience leading consulting workstreams or owning technical delivery for customer engagements.
• Familiarity with CAD tools, data integration, SQL, or analytics workflows.
