SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing Consultant

Location: Worldwide; Work mode: Remote. Candidates working in European time zones should be able to accommodate a few evening meetings per week for alignment with US project teams.

What you will do

• Implement and support invoice and tax management solutions using SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA.
• Work across all project phases, including preparation, design, realization, testing, cutover, go-live, hypercare, support, and continuous improvement.
• Advise customers on invoice reconciliation best practices and country- and industry-specific requirements.
• Identify customer pain points, process improvement opportunities, and the business value of SAP solutions.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal preparation, and customer presentations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of consulting experience implementing SAP solutions for Procure-to-Pay processes with SAP Ariba and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of invoicing and tax management business processes.
• Understanding of SAP Intelligent Spend and Business Network and its solution portfolio.
• Experience building trusted customer relationships and identifying process improvement opportunities.
• English at B2+ level required.
• Ability to attend a few evening meetings per week when working in European time zones.

Nice to have

• Understanding of US tax management processes and regulations.
• Experience with e-invoicing and invoice reconciliation solutions such as ReadSoft.
• Knowledge of SAP Sourcing and Supplier Management.
• German language proficiency.
