What you will do

• Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of power infrastructure for new and expanding data center campuses.
• Oversee utility connections, grid access, energization, permitting, commissioning, delivery risks, and operational handover.
• Develop and execute long-term energy and power strategies across Australia and support growth opportunities across APAC.
• Originate and secure commercially structured power and energy solutions balancing cost, reliability, scalability, and risk.
• Build senior relationships with utilities, network operators, regulators, government agencies, and strategic energy partners.
• Lead commercial negotiations and develop business cases for energy procurement, infrastructure investment, and long-term growth.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in power, utilities, energy infrastructure, hyperscale data centers, digital infrastructure, renewable energy, or related sectors.
• Proven delivery experience with major power infrastructure projects, including substations, transmission assets, utility connections, and energization.
• Experience supporting hyperscale data center, digital infrastructure, or other mission-critical developments.
• Deep understanding of the Australian electricity market, including the NER connection process, access standards, AEMO 534A capacity approvals, DNSP/TNSP agreements, and ISP-driven augmentation.
• Strong commercial negotiation, stakeholder management, risk management, cross-functional leadership, and project delivery skills.
