What you will do

• Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of power infrastructure for new and expanding data center campuses.
• Oversee utility connections, grid access, energization, permitting, commissioning, risk management, and operational handover.
• Develop and execute long-term energy and power strategy across Australia and support growth across APAC.
• Originate power capacity and commercially structured energy solutions balancing cost, reliability, scalability, and risk.
• Build senior relationships with utilities, network operators, regulators, government agencies, and infrastructure partners.
• Lead commercial negotiations, business cases, and cross-functional alignment with development, construction, operations, finance, sustainability, and executive teams.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in power, utilities, energy infrastructure, hyperscale data centers, digital infrastructure, renewable energy, or related sectors.
• Proven delivery experience with substations, transmission assets, utility connections, energization, and other major power infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting hyperscale data center, digital infrastructure, or other mission-critical developments.
• Deep understanding of the Australian electricity market, NER connection process, access standards, AEMO 534A capacity approvals, DNSP/TNSP agreements, and ISP-driven augmentation.
• Experience securing power capacity and negotiating energy, utility, and infrastructure agreements.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, project delivery, risk management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
