Lead Electrical Engineering (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Based in Australia or Singapore, with regular travel across project locations

Salary: AUD 0–300,000 per annum

hirify.global is recruiting for a rapidly growing technology infrastructure business delivering AI and digital infrastructure projects across APAC.

What you will do

• Lead the electrical engineering function across multiple AI infrastructure projects.
• Oversee electrical design adaptation, technical assurance, change control, and site deviations.
• Provide technical leadership across MV/LV distribution, UPS, standby generation, protection, earthing, bonding, and power quality.
• Oversee FAT, SAT, commissioning readiness, energisation, and handover activities.
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning, mechanical, controls, operations, contractors, consultants, utilities, and equipment suppliers.
• Build a distributed engineering team and establish consistent standards across the project portfolio.

Requirements

• 12 years of experience in electrical power engineering, ideally in data centres, hyperscale infrastructure, industrial power, or other mission-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV distribution, UPS, standby and prime-power generation, switchgear, protection, and relay coordination.
• Experience with earthing, bonding, arc-flash, power quality, safety-in-design, and power system modelling.
• Experience delivering electrical engineering across design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Proven leadership of engineers and management of consultants, contractors, suppliers, utilities, regulators, and equipment vendors.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a power systems focus.

• Project experience across APAC, particularly in Australia and Indonesia.
