Site Lead (Wind Farm)

Location: Badgingarra Wind Farm, Hill River, Western Australia. Must reside in the local area within a one-hour drive of the site.

What you will do

• Lead daily site operations, including toolbox talks, task allocation, maintenance coordination, and technical escalation.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop technicians and contractors.
• Enforce HSE standards, conduct inspections, and lead incident reporting and investigations.
• Perform and support WTG maintenance, troubleshooting, high-torque tasks, component exchanges, LOTO, and turbine start-ups.
• Coordinate with remote operations, engineering, planning, HSE, landowners, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain SAP documentation and reporting, support audits, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Must be based within one hour's drive of the Badgingarra Wind Farm.
• Relevant Cert III/IV technical qualifications in electrotechnology, mechanical, or renewable energy fields.
• GWO Basic Safety, First Aid/CPR with LVR, high-risk licenses, driver's license, and required authorizations.
• 3–5+ years of WTG maintenance or field operations experience with team leadership capability.
• Strong knowledge of turbine systems, HSE processes, safety leadership, technical troubleshooting, communication, and reporting.
• Experience working with technicians, contractors, remote operations, engineering, planning, HSE, and landowners.

Nice to have

• GWO Advanced Rescue certification.
• HV switching authorization.
• Leadership or engineering diploma.
• SAP or CMMS experience.
