Senior Revenue Accountant (Gaming)

Riot Games is a global game developer and esports company best known for League of Legends, focused on player experience and supporting its growing business in Korea.

What you will do

• Manage daily revenue operations, including invoicing, accounts receivable monitoring, collections, and month-end close activities.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly reporting packages for revenue-related accounts.
• Support revenue recognition, analytical reviews, and investigation of unusual balances, trends, and fluctuations.
• Coordinate with business teams and internal stakeholders to resolve billing issues and maintain complete revenue documentation.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Payments, and central teams on billing, settlements, intercompany transactions, and process execution.
• Improve controls and operational scalability while supporting external audits and local statutory reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting, audit, or a related finance role, including month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, organization, independent execution, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective relationships across functions and regions.
• Curiosity, collaboration, openness to feedback, and a proactive approach to operational and financial issues.

Nice to have

• CPA or equivalent professional certification.
• Big Four experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS, especially revenue recognition principles.
• Experience in a multi-entity or global business environment and with high-volume revenue operations.
• Familiarity with Oracle, strong Excel skills, and interest in automation and accounting systems.
