TL;DR

What you will do
- Manage monthly local GAAP analytical reviews, reconciliations, and required adjustments.
- Coordinate and draft statutory financial statements and KSOX documentation.
- Prepare corporate income tax filings, payments, quarterly tax updates, and withholding tax analyses.
- Support complex payments and receipts, including foreign-currency transactions.
- Coordinate statutory reporting requirements with the Corporate Secretary, government bodies, auditors, and tax authorities.
- Recommend process improvements and support ad hoc accounting projects.
Requirements
- Degree in accounting or finance and at least 5 years of professional experience.
- Thorough understanding of banking payment processes, Korean tax regulations including VAT filing, and statutory audits.
- Knowledge of KSOX and IFRS accounting standards; US GAAP knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with SAP or the ability to quickly learn accounting applications.
- Mandatory English proficiency.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
