Tax Manager APAC (Finance)

What you will do

• Prepare and review corporate tax returns, schedules, and disclosures for Australia, New Zealand, and the APAC region.
• Lead end-to-end tax effect accounting and tax forecasting for APAC and support Group-level forecasting.
• Manage annual Australian controlled foreign company (CFC) attribution estimates and calculations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for tax audits, reviews, and enquiries in Australia and New Zealand.
• Support indirect tax compliance (GST, FBT, PAYG) and implement tax risk management frameworks.
• Collaborate with Transfer Pricing and senior stakeholders on strategic projects, acquisitions, and restructures.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in corporate tax compliance and reporting within a Big 4 or multinational environment.
• Relevant tertiary qualification with CPA or CA accreditation.
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian corporate taxation and tax accounting.
• Exposure to international tax matters.
• Must be authorized to work in the job posting location (Australia) without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE tax products or similar technology.
• Proven track record of delivering operational improvements through automation, data analytics, or LLMs.
