What you will do

• Develop comprehensive, risk-based audit plans and testing procedures for risk and compliance audits.
• Execute audit fieldwork, assess control effectiveness, and deliver reports to senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Implement data analysis tools using Python, Databricks, and Looker to improve audit efficiency and identify anomalies.
• Manage internal stakeholders to communicate complex risk issues and ensure implementation of recommendations.
• Monitor and track the remediation of audit findings through management action plans.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to promote operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of professional experience as an auditor or financial industry practitioner (e.g., bank, card scheme).
• Expertise in Financial Crime Compliance, Fraud, Card Scheme Compliance, and Enterprise Risk Management.
• Experience working with banking regulators such as MAS, APRA, DNB, or FCA.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• Must be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CAMS, or FRM.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Databricks, and Looker.
