UIR Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Wuxi, China; onsite customer-site work

hirify.global’s Customer Support organization installs, qualifies, repairs, maintains, upgrades, and relocates systems at customer sites while transferring technical knowledge to customers.

What you will do

• Install, assemble, align, test, upgrade, and relocate equipment at customer locations.
• Perform system setup and recovery for upgrade packages and support locally owned field swaps.
• Analyze equipment problems, collect diagnostic information, determine initial solutions, and consult with other support levels.
• Prepare problem handovers, work orders, field service reports, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate parts, tools, equipment, and technical information within customer machine time windows.
• Train customers, share best practices, identify process improvements, and support less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Experienced UIR Engineer with a BSc in a relevant technical field, such as electrical technology, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in a technical industry is required.
• Semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
• Experience with computer applications, data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
• Flexibility to work across various settings, locations, and collaborations is required.
