Safety Engineer - E3 (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day EHS support for laboratory and site operations.
• Develop and maintain EHS programs, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Identify hazards, assess operational risks, and implement risk controls.
• Lead or support compliance evaluations, incident investigations, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
• Provide EHS input to design reviews, new tool installations, Management of Change, and operational readiness reviews.
• Partner with local and global stakeholders on EHS program deployment and technical safety reviews.

Requirements

• Knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, operational safety management, and compliance processes.
• Experience with hazard identification, incident investigation, corrective actions, and risk assessment methods such as FMEA, HAZOP, PHA, 8D, or RCA.
• Working knowledge of design review and Management of Change processes.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and communicate effectively with local and global stakeholders.
• Good English communication skills are required for cross-site collaboration, technical discussions, and reporting.
• China Registered Safety Engineer certification or an equivalent certification is required. A master's degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor, laboratory, manufacturing, or other technically demanding operational environments.
• Master's degree in a related safety or environmental discipline.
