Global Installation Engineer-Semi-CMP (CMP)

Location: Shanghai, China; additional locations include Beijing, Wuxi, and Chengdu, China. The role involves customer-site installation, on-site work, cleanroom environments, and approximately 75–80% travel.

What you will do

• Install, start up, qualify, maintain, and upgrade CMP LK3.0 and LKP equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Coordinate with customers, project managers, field service engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Support safe, timely equipment installation and customer acceptance.
• Travel frequently to customer sites, with travel expected approximately 75–80% of the time.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 1–2 years of customer or field service experience; 2–4 years is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Basic mechanical aptitude in areas such as pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and digital multimeters, plus basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport if required, and ability to meet on-site safety and environmental requirements.

• Experience installing, starting up, or supporting CMP equipment in the field.
