Senior Product Manager (Global Authentication)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; at least 3 days per week in the office. The role requires 5–10% travel and is performed in an office setting.

Salary: $169,100–$270,800 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Build consumer authentication products that reduce checkout friction and support authentication through merchants and AI agents.
• Advance a unified integration and API strategy across 3-D Secure, tokenization, and emerging authentication methods.
• Define product requirements, roadmaps, use cases, flows, acceptance criteria, and solution recommendations.
• Partner with engineering and architecture teams to evaluate feasibility, trade-offs, and implementation approaches.
• Resolve complex product, integration, and customer implementation issues while aligning internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in standards organizations and industry working groups, translating ecosystem developments into hirify.global’s authentication roadmap.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or qualifying experience with an advanced degree or PhD.
• Ability to write code and independently build proof-of-concepts.
• Strong technical fluency in authentication flows, APIs, data elements, message flows, product capabilities, and integration patterns.
• Experience with payment authentication or digital payment technologies such as 3-D Secure, tokenization, passkeys/WebAuthn, MFA, SSO/OAuth/SAML, SPC, or DPC.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across product, technology, client, operational, regional, and industry teams.
• Experience contributing to technical specifications, implementation guides, standards documents, or ecosystem requirements.
