Senior Product Manager (AI Risk & Fraud)

Location: San Francisco, United States; in-office 5 days a week.

Annual salary: $175,000–$275,000, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Set the long-term vision and roadmap for risk and fraud systems across application fraud, account takeover, transaction fraud, ongoing account risk, and disputes.
• Combine partner, behavioral, financial, and network data to make risk decisions more predictive and personalized.
• Own signals, models, rules, thresholds, and actions while balancing loss prevention with customer friction.
• Advance AI and machine learning capabilities for fraud detection, adaptive decisioning, and automated decisions.
• Build explainable and auditable decisioning systems and define how risk performance is measured and communicated.
• Make build-versus-buy decisions and design reusable risk capabilities across partners, products, customers, and risk appetites.

Requirements

• Experience building or owning fraud, risk, or decisioning products at a bank, issuer, processor, fintech, or fraud and identity company.
• Strong perspective on applying AI and machine learning to risk decisioning and improving customer outcomes.
• Highly analytical, with the ability to investigate patterns, test hypotheses, and work directly with data.
• Technical depth to collaborate with engineers and data scientists on signals, models, rules engines, decision flows, and edge cases.
• Systems thinking and the ability to connect risk decisions with customer experience, compliance, operations, and partner economics.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex risk problems, priorities, and trade-offs.
